CITIZENSHIP AND PREVENTION
Whether it’s supporting the local scene through Première Seine, boosting the economy by employing over 1,000 people each year or welcoming associations and foundations serving the public interest, Rock en Seine reinforces its role as a key player in the social and solidarity economy. Its commitment goes beyond the festival itself, continuing year-round with the goal of creating a lasting and positive impact.

ASSOCIATIONS AND CAUSES
Since 2010, the festival has welcomed 3 associations each year after they’ve been selected through a call for projects, giving them a platform to raise awareness of their causes among the festival community and attendees
SGBV PREVENTION
Rock en Seine is implementing a comprehensive program for the prevention, awareness, and support of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). Coordinated by various associations, this initiative includes awareness activities at booths, roaming support teams, as well as messages broadcast on giant screens and strategically placed signage across the site.
In 2024, an awareness questionnaire, designed with Médiamétrie and Consentis, was integrated into accreditation applications to inform and educate participants. Additionally, festival teams receive training on consent and SGBV and a charter of respect, developed with Consentis, is shared with artists, partners, and service providers.

AUDITIFS HEARING RISKS PREVENTION
In addition to awareness campaigns on the festival’s channels, several on-site measures will be implemented to promote hearing health and protect festival-goers from related risks.
Free earplugs will be distributed in a dedicated area, where attendees can also find a selection of hearing protection available for purchase
ROAD PREVENTION
The festival gives various organizations a platform to address road safety and the risks associated with alcohol and drug consumption in an engaging way.
In the area dedicated to the Île-de-France region, CRIPS will run awareness and risk-prevention activities, with a particular focus on sexual health.
Finally, a specialized team from the addictology department of the Centre Hospitalier des 4 Villes in Saint-Cloud – the first hospital alcohol treatment unit to open in the 1950s – will be on-site to provide support and raise awareness about risky behaviors.

GENDER EQUALITY
Every year, Rock en Seine strengthens its commitment to increasing the presence of female artists, from emerging talents to headliners, with the goal of achieving gender parity. A 100% female-led party is scheduled for August 20, 2025, as in 2024 and 2023.
This commitment also extends to cultural programming, ensuring balanced representation of women and minorities in juries, young talent selections, and Talks speakers
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Rock en Seine offers discounted rates for young people, students, jobseekers, and people with disabilities to ensure accessibility for all.
Economically, the event mobilizes nearly 1,000 people over three days, prioritizing businesses from the Paris region.
Finally, its sponsors and partners support key initiatives such as accessibility, youth programs, risk prevention, and sustainable mobility.
