The fourth and final day of this 2022 edition of the festival lived up to its promise.
We’ve said it before, we’ve said it again, Rock en Seine likes to put forward the talents of tomorrow, the future big names of pop, rock, rap or electro, from all genres and all horizons. On this sunny Sunday, Holly Humberstone, Skullcrusher, Michelle Blades, Mitty (Première Scène winner), Crys or Renard Tortue, didn’t fail to charm the numerous festival-goers on this last day.
Rock en Seine, a festival that takes you on a journey far beyond its historical stronghold, the Domaine National de Saint Cloud. The Masters of Desert Blues: Imarhan, but also Shaga, Blue Samu, Olivia Dean, the duo Ottis Coeur… Their melodies carried us away.
And then again this evening, we danced, madly. In front of the main stage, for Aurora’s show, in front of the Bosquet stage, for Channel Tres, for Yoa (languorous dance), for Quasi Qui (with an innate sense of groove). Rock en Seine, an eclectic festival. Don’t be fooled by the Rock title: Fred Again…, Vendredi Sur Mer, Nu Genea Live Band, Joy Crookes… The guitars were there, but so much more than that.
Parcels, FKJ and Griff were also present on Sunday. As well as Stromae, headliner of this last evening, for one of the most awaited returns of the year. A show that was bound to be enchanting, full of hits and colours. Crazy, tender, melodic, ambitious.
It was Rock en Seine 2022. The festival of return, of reunion. We can’t wait to come back, we already miss you. See you on August 25th, 26th and 27th 2023… and maybe more!
